Anita has been professionally involved in healing therapies since 1985. She has studied with Master Tom Tam since 1994, studying acupuncture and adjunctive modalities. She is a graduate of The Eastern School of Acupuncture & Traditional Medicine in Montclair, NJ .

Her studies have taken her to China, and Eastern Europe where she has assisted in acupuncture clinics and taught chi gong exercises.

Anita’s style of acupuncture combines both eastern and western medicine by treating illness
from the traditional Chinese viewpoint such as yin and yang, as well as western medical viewpoints such as nerve, vascular and endocrine function. The treatment combines acupuncture, chi gong therapy, and tui na massage to fully open up blockages on physical and energetic levels.

Anita uses Tom Tam’s method of chi gong, which brings in universal energy to heal the patient
by tapping into the collective unconscious as defined by Carl Jung. Using this energy results in a much stronger healing for the patient.
